MASPware GuardMobile is a security- and controlsystem for iPAQ 110 devices. Its a silent, hidden program, which (e.g. after a thievery) executes commands remotely initiated by the iPAQ 110 owner.

Imaging, your cellular iPAQ 110 has been stolen. What can you do now?

• You can initiate an alarm and lock the iPAQ 110
• You can locate your iPAQ 110 (GPS receiver is required)
• If your stolen iPAQ 110 contains top secret data, you can do a hardreset remotely to erase all data! (Use carfully!)
• You can initiate a callback to overhear the thief

How does GuardMobile work?

The iPAQ 110 owner installs and configures GuardMobile. He sets an arbitrary iPAQ 110 PIN and adds cellular numbers, which can control this iPAQ 110, to totally prevent abuse. After activation, the program stays "silently" in background until its asked to do some action.

Since every iPAQ 110 supports SMS nowadays, the whole communication is done via SMS, which means you can control your iPAQ 110 using any other cellular iPAQ 110 (no iPAQ 110 required!). No internet access is necessary. The iPAQ 110 replies all actions with a confirmation SMS.
